"BALOOJA"
A promise to my boy
Several Years ago my life was forever changed. A 3lb silky terrier by the name of Bailey "Balooja" changed my world. I saw a dog that needed me so much because of his chronic ailments he battled.
He had Epilepsy, developmental delay, and ultimately brain cancer. During my time with him I was so in love. This tiny little dog would be the reason my heart would be dedicated to dogs in need. Every single dog I help rescue is because of a promise I made to my little son — as I held him in my arms telling him "heaven isn't a bad place" kissing him at the same time my heart being ripped apart on this inside.
As he was dying I told him "I will fight for dogs like you, I promise." How can a dog change a person? Well, he showed me that life wasn't just about me, and my purpose had a whole other meaning. Protecting the innocent is just the way it should always be. In death my boy is a hero just as he was in life. I loved you yesterday, I love you today, I'll love you always my baby boy. A promise made is a promise kept.
It's with a full heart that I announce my rescue

about
Balooja's Foundation is a small Southern California rescue organization run by a group of dedicated volunteers. We save dogs from death at over-crowded shelters, dogs with special medical needs, handicapped dogs, older dogs, and we find them loving, happy homes.
Founded in 2016, Balooja's Foundation has saved the lives of countless animals in need. Are you looking to adopt in the Southern California Area? Please look no further. If you can't adopt, please do the next best thing and DONATE.
